When researching this volume of the King & Country books, I not only used every warbird flyer I could find (I never saw the "Desert Storm" flyer Andy posted today on the modern warbirds thread he started before), and every pricelist and dealer dispatch (back in the pre-internet days, Andy used to Fax them to dealers, and a few of my dealer friends passed them along to me), I actually picked Andy and his brother Gordon's brains, and got a bunch of old photos Gordon had saved sent to me, so I could make as complete a list as possible. AIR 014 is actually three planes. I keep a database of the new planes and call them AIR 014A, AIR 014B and AIR 014C. I supplied Bill Sager with the photo on his website, which was given to me by Andy.

I believe there was only one made of the new variety. Don't know of the quantity made pre 2000.

Correction: I went back and checked Andy's email to me from 2007 and the price on the Me 109 was $650. The Me 109 was modeled on the one flown by Heinrich Bartels. It was my first of the new wooden ones and still my favorite.
