Airfield dio base has arrived! Now time to populate it with figures and a few vehicles.
I have all of the K&C airforce guys ready to go.

My question is more historical. This plane was based at RAF Bassingbourn for most of it's action. While the USAAF was operating on bases in Britain, would there have been RAF personnel and vehicles there or to be historically accurate, should I stick to US vehicles and people? (overall, if I like the piece, I don't really care, but was just wondering)

It would be US kit on the base from photos I've seen

haha! there is no Mrs. Lang, hence....buy, buy buy!

The base was made my Nicholas Cameron at Crowne Military Miniatures. Once I get it a little set up I'll post some pictures (it's 4ft x 4ft so might need a few pics!)

If there was a Mrs. L, she probably would have killed Mr L by now ^&grin

ha! She'd have sold all of my russian figures by now to hire a hitman!

I'd bet you have a well laid out display, one twice that of a married collector? If so I would love to see pictures!

OK, I really shouldn't post photos until I'm done, but I am having too much fun with this thing to keep it all to myself. Keep in mind it's a work in progress! (also, just iphone pics)
