“Too little, too late” K&C HE-162 Volksjäger Vignette Diorama (1 Viewer)

Along with the K&C ME-163 Komet, I also recently picked up their HE-162 Volksjäger/Salamander model (LW057) along with several K&C Luftwaffe pilot figures and some Thomas Gunn Luftwaffe mechanics; all of which make for a nice little diorama setup. I was really surprised to find that K&C made the Volksjäger given its relative obscurity and they did a nice job with the model. It captures the plane’s streamlined look and is nicely detailed, and is mostly accurate to the real aircraft.

My simple diorama depicts a German late-war airfield with a group of pilots catching a rare break and standing casually around an HE-162 of the unit 1./JG1. The ground crew is preparing the aircraft for its next mission as a tired fallschrimjager watches the activity. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone! Glad you all enjoyed it... I don’t hav the space for a huge diorama, so I’ve really latched on to doing smaller, simpler dios that show off the aircraft, tank, figures, etc. Thanks again!
