1:32 US NAVY SAILORS in COMBAT (1 Viewer)

HaHa!
I was waiting for one of you guys to finally call me out on the accuracy of my WWII naval figures!
The figures are pure toy soldier fantasy.
I always loved how cool the sailors looked in propaganda posters,
fighting in their Navy Whites and Blues.

PLAYTIME comes FIRST, for the Plastic General!!!

I ordered 2 sets of 1-30 navy figures from the safeway site. These were the cheaper variety one set was $33 and the other $39. I'll let you know how they are when I get them. Just thinking that they can also be used as VietNam river boat crewmen.

Gary, can you provide a link to that site? I would like to see what these guys look like.
thanks

Shapeway is the largest 3D printer in the market. Their site will feature different manufacturers subscribing to their services. This is where I order parts for scratch-building projects. Type in US Navy on the search box (or any other parts you like like jerry cans, 50 cal mg etc.

PG, where did you get the bare-chested figures? They might be applicable for some VietNam conversions.

Thanks PG, I knew about the Preisser figures, but didn't know if there were others. The Preisser figures are very well made but a little on the expensive side so I was wondering about cheaper alternatives. I have a set of the "Adam" figures in my stash of kits. I was thinking of using them for part of a gun crew for a USMC 155mm gun in the Pacific. The gun is readily available from 21st Century, but the crew figures are Army and more appropriate for ETO/MTO.

Thanks for the reply.
