I got a little burned out from building structures and needed a little playtime and I shot a few photos to share;

Very nice looking dio, nice to see another ACW collcetor playing. I really like the building structures - well done. Thanks for sharing . . . .

Captain, That's real nice, a lot of action definitely suits me. Good groundwork, and background pic.

I'm curious what you used for the base grass.

Thanks

Joe

Woodland Scenics turf. A couple of different colors. That is a Styrofoam base with the turf glued to it.

Very nice, you can certainly pack a lot of action in such a small space with these guys.

Thanks Britfarmer. The problem is when one falls over it takes several with it. especially on the uneven ground.

Nice to see you at play with both your Rebs an Yanks Captain an wondering when you'll be bringing your Reb Gun Batteries into play. Thanks for sharing it with us.....The Lt.

You know me Lt, the guns are never very far away. I was trying to do something a little different here and get as many figures as I could into a shot and check out the effect. It's something a little different for me and I liked the way it turned out.

You make some very nice buildings. ^&cool
The Airfix figures bring back memories and they stand the test of time.

Thank you. It was the Airfix figs that were my favorites as a kid and I still like them but, they certainly dont have the detail or accuracy of the figs being produced these days. It is fun to mix them in with the other makers and someone always spots them and mentions them.

great , i watched gettysburg the other night and thought back to the battles i had with my 1/72 acw when i was little

I tried out something last night and this morning that I've been wanting to do for some time. seeing how well my HO trains matched up with the buildings I've made and my 1/72 scale figures. Please keep in mind this is playtime and not serious diorama building.
