Just when you thought Liverpool may be clear of problems Feb may just see Gillette and Hicks bring a lawsuit against Liverpool and the new owners

Don't you have "loser pays" provisions in your tort laws over there? I thought that kept these sorts of things from getting to the courts.

I know we could sure use the same principle here.

I know they tried a few writs a short while back but, when you have an axe to grind and the money the civil courts are always accomodating. Its a farce as I said and, certainly not what the club or new owners will want.

I would have thought the previous owners would have just let sleeping dogs lye

They had threatened to do so when the sale went through so I'm sure this comes as no surprise to the new owners.
