I have a question. I was looking at the Frontline web site and found the 10th Tennesee

I was on the website for the 10th and did some reading. Looking at the picture made me a little suspicous. Look at the cuffs and collars. They are red! Why? On the web site for the re-enactors they stated that the cuffs and collars should be middle french blue.

I think that the red facings look really cool but who is right? Red denotes Artillery, blue denotes infantry, yellow, cavalry.

I don't know the answer to your query, however, in my collection I have one of The Rebel Sons of Erin, he is a flag bearer and the 10th's banner was double-sided with the Irish harp on one side and the 1st National on the reverse. My figure is wearing just the standard gray with neither red or blue on the cuffs or collar.
As they were predominantly in the Mississippi/Western theatre-Fort Donleson etc they are not my forte as my in depth knowledge is primarily with the Eastern regiments but what I do know is that there was definitely a 10th Tennessee Cavalry but no 10th Artillery regiment.

I have very few Frontline ACW as I really don't like their facial expressions and they all look identical no matter what set you purchase. I too was a little suspicious of the coloring of some of their sets uniforms when I bought one of their figures at a show. He was dressed in a green uniform and he was a bugler, when I picked him up I thought he was a Berdan's but the guy said no he was a Reb but didn't know his regiment but he was carrying CSA equipment. As no manufacturer supplies a Reb bugler I bought him got home went through my library and indeed found a green uniformed Reb regiment The 1st South Carolina Rifles. So using that as a yardstick Frontline's uniform research was spot on. Best I can do.

I think you purchased the single Frontline figure from their ACI.8 Set, which is the officer and buglar set from their Confederate charge figures.

These figures have a wide variety of butternut uniforms and the set descriptions do not identity them as belonging to any particular regiment.:)

Clinch Rifles or Jasper Greens. Green Uniform is not incorrect. According to Troianni. Also some outfits did not care a whole lot about tradition. Colors apparently mixed a lot. Fusilers also got red facings. Hey Bob if you do not like the Frontline guys, I am starting a Confederate Veterans Home.

KV Mort Kunstler's Rebel sons of Erin also has them wearing the red cuffs and collars and I found this

Uniforms:
Pre-Fort Donelson
The look of the new uniforms was of a Tennessee Zouaves. Jackets and pants were Confederate gray, with a scarlet line running down the seems of each pant leg.The hats was gray with scarlet trim and the linning of the jackets as well as the soldier's shirt of scarlet color. Officers had crimson and gold trimming on the jackets sleeves.

Post- Fort Donelson
After dreadful event of Fort Henry and Fort Donelson, the one who were captured and sent to prison evetually were parolled and were sent to be re-organized. The enlisted men meet up with Col. McGavock who was wearing a new customed tailored gray and red uniform and waving a green ribbon from the red band on his hat. For every body else it is unclear its assume that the men aqquired the regular Army of the Tennessee uniforms. Columbus Depot Jacket, which was butternut in color; also having butternut trousers.

So I would say red it is
