Saw this today and thought it a good movie. Lots of fighting action. Have not read the book but suspect this is the usual "Hollywood treatment" of all war movies such as Sole Survivor, We Were Soldiers Once, etc." Gotta have that kick butt feel good ending not related to real events. Ordered Gary Schroen's First In, his personal account of the CIA team working with the Northern Alliance briefly depicted in the movie. Side note, my son is due to rotate back to Afghanistan next month for his third tour (and he's not a supply clerk). Chris

The reviews may be tepid, but the box office isn't. It was sold out when I went, so I opted
for "Hostiles," which had good reviews. Box office lacking.
