I hv a delightful Italian book on 17 cent Italian fashions and the one pic shows a similar dress to this fig. Since I alr have a ptd cafe storms infanta Isabella fig in my collection, this spare fig is being converted into the above.

the detail embroidery was dissolved in liquid polystyrene cement. The head pose and right arm was altered. Right arm was from a spare verlinden nude. Other details were carved away. The neck lace and front of the dress being resculpted.

Excellent! I find having the necessary references to work with assists in creating something quite beautiful.
 
Yes. The ref on hand are really impt to work efficiently on a project. I also make notes to clarify any hidden details if necc
mostly the right pic will prove inspirational.

Excellent continuation on this project. Apart from Books, I do search the internet for additional references.
 
Also worked more on this piece. Improved the neck frill and made markings on specific areas to convert.

Added a bit of detail in front. Still sculpting the cape. Lengthened the right hand.
