I was looking at a recent post showing soldiers posed ina winter scene, using a downloaded winter scene wallpaper. I did some searching and came across a good number that were useful and the thought "What soldiers to pose here?"

We I LOVE Napoleonics and The 1812 Retreat from Moscow is a favourite of mine, so I have used images thaken of 2 of the sets of Model Figures made by Tradition of London to show off my computer skills using Paintshop Pro as well as my other painting skills witha brush and Humbrol to bring these 2 dioramas to life.

When I complete painting the 3rd set "the Burning of the Eagles", that will grace the Forum.

Nice job John

I like the whiteout effect.

Nice looking batch of figures John. Great seeing them all again with the wintry background added. Looking forward to seeing the final set done once you get to it. :smile2:

I'm cold to the bones just looking at your displays. Very life-like!

I recognize Marshal Ney in the second picture. Grim. Well done.

I remember this set as well as " THE BURNING OF THE EAGLES " that were reviewed in Military Modeling magazine back in the late 70's , early 80's. I'm still impressed.
Very nice.

Maybe they are really busy this week, packing up for the London Toy Soldier Show on Saturday? When I visited the shop last year, the week before the show, it was piled high with boxes to goto the show, so wait until next week for a reply, or ask someone who is going to ask Steve at his table?

They are on the website, so you can order them.
