Absolutely phenomenal diorama!!!:salute::

Agreed; this is absolutely spectacular, well done, thanks for sharing; is there anyway you can post an image of the entire scene to give us some perspective on the overall scope?

Not to slight K&C and First Legion but TEAM Miniatures did a great job with their FPW series.
They have a great assortment of infantry and excellent cavalry figures.
I would hope that Team continue this range with artillery, a command group and more cavalry units.
First Legion showed a preview of Prussian artillery which would also be a great addition.

Very nice diorama. How do the K&C figures blend in with Team?

Thanks for your kind words.
I hope for Uhlans and some Wurttemberg troops and the FL cuirassiers….

The K & C figures with the white trousers mix in well; in the early battles of the war, some Prussian regiments wore white (summer) pants as depicted in some of the period artwork.

Uhlans would be great as well as French Chasseurs D'Afrique, would also like to see Wurttemberg infantry or Saxons, but prefer Wurttemberg troops.

Amazing diorama.

I could examine this for hours.

Well done!

Makes me want to find out more about the Franco-Prussian war.

Track down a copy of The Franco-Prussian War by Michael Howard. It is an older study done in 1962, but it is very good. -- Al

I've always had an interest in the Franco Prussian War, the artwork really grabbed me, I started to read more and more about the war and my interest kept growing.

I started a small 20mm collection for the war 5 years ago; I now have about 2,500 infantry, 500 cavalry and 24 guns in total, it's become one of my favorite periods to collect and learn about.

This is the beauty of the toy soldier hobby; you can combine history and soldiers and off you go.

I love it, its fantastic. I started collecting FP War when Team started making the range. I hope the figures keep coming
