1898 Los Ultimos de Filipinas (2016) (1 Viewer)

Yeap! You have a point, you will own the dvd! But if you feel like seeing this or another film online, do as I do...I open the video on line on my PC and then via Google Chrome I transfer it to my 60" HD TV ...{sm4}{sm4}
That´s the best deal.....for then at the end I download the film to my HD.....{sm4}{sm4}{sm4}
Cheers

I don't do online. A 23" monitor doesn't cut it for me. Picture quality or sound.
I do have it ordered on VUDU for 16 May to stream. A 60" television in HD is much
better. And I can keep it to watch again if it is any good.^&grin

I don't have the disk. VUDU is through Roku and in the cloud. How much did you pay Rent/Own?
Is it 4K? {sm4}{sm4}{sm4}

Sorry, I didn't know I had Google Play on my Roku. The Television techs must have set it up when
they installed a new system two weeks ago. Same prices as VUDU, but I can share with
up to five friends and family. Plus take the Roku to the family vacation compound and other TV's
in the house.. No more lugging disks around. I love this streaming.

Right now Google Play says "1898 Los Ultimos de Filipinas" hasn't been released. I
assume it will be up on 16 May the same as all others.

Then there is always Kori.

I received this but have only been able to watch the first hour.Not bad,no Hollywood production but worth seeing.I have to watch it with sub-titles but I can deal with it.I got regular version,not Blu-Ray as I still have a DVD recorder which will probably be my last one as they are almost phased out.Next coming for me is "Amigo" directed by John Sayles. This is set in the Philippines in 1900.I also have "The Real Glory" from 1939 with Gary Cooper.

I agree. Not bad for low budget actually. I watched it on VUDU the day it was legally released, which was 16 May.

This is now on Netflix. Brilliant movie. A metaphor for Spain as it existed in 1898.

Just watched it off of Netflix. Agree with everyone else, a terrific movie, very well done, authentic and well acted. The subtitles don't bother me and I'd much rather watch a movie in it's original language than be annoyed by a dubbed version that will be out of sync. Well worth watching. -- Al
