I don't think these are from 1971. They were (as you bought them) released in the 1990's. I think they just used the deetail base which was copyrighted in 1971 that is all. I also don't think the round ended base was released until the nineties. I remember everything having rectangular bases when I was growing up.

Thank you! I'll try to change that on my listing. I got them in the 90s so the 70s bases were confusing.

WOW now that is the ultimate in looking after your toys!!! The Herald figures are notorious for breaking and the paint flakes off like no tomorrow.

I like those! The various Robin Hood series never had enough villains to be a threat. I used to "draft" black knights or anonymous men at arms for the Sheriff's men.
