1st Annual 1778, Fight For Freedom Weekend (1 Viewer)

The Battle Of Monmouth was fought in New Jersey in 1778.

Alex and Nick will be commemorating this two day battle on June 26th & 27th, 2010 at our Battle Scene Productions Studio which is located on a section of the battlefield and on the main battlefield where there will be a re enactment of the historical battle.

We will also be visiting a graveyard where many of the soldiers were buried at.The church which is on the cemetery was used as a hospital for the wounded soldiers. There was so much blood on the wood floors that the stains are still present today. The church covered the wood floors with rugs so it wouldn't upset the parishioners. We will attempt to have the church opened so we all can visit this historical site.

Saturday evening we will have dinner at the Battleground Country Club Restaurant.

The dates are set but everything else, including directions are in the preliminary phase so, the details will be worked out later.

So, who wants to come down?
It will be nice to see a bunch of you guys in person.

I am very interested in the American Revolution and a collector of K&C AWI figures, so this would be very much right up my alley, unfortunately being thousands of miles away is a downside, but I hope you have a great time.

Have you visited our web site ? We have a Valley Forge diorama in the Photo Gallery which I made for a Russian toy soldier manufacturer.
It's pretty nice looking.

Would definately love to see some photos of the event, would have been nice to be there but alas not to be!

We have been slowly putting together our new Studio/Museum. We plan to have it totally up and running and ready for visitors by the third week in June 2010. The museum will take the most time to create. Our studio will be up and running soon.
In the meantime we have been working out of my small cramped studio where we will be photographing our newest WWI, FLF diorama. This diorama is around five to six feet long.

We look forward to seeing a bunch of collectors and reenactors in June.
Please don't tell us the last minute that you'll be coming.
