2 ND VA Militia (1 Viewer)

Here is the 2 nd. VA Militia Battalion at Cowpens. This unit was commanded by Major David Campbell and was placed on the main line, along with the Continentals, at Cowpens. Included in this unit were VA Rifleman, VA State Troops and a company of NC Riflemen.

I've included more riflemen figures in this battalion, as their were on the day of the battle.

I know that I am biased, but I really love the way all 3 units turned out. Alan Marsh really captured the spirit of the Southern theater with his sculpting. Enough of that. Here are the 2 nd VA Militia Battalion.

Well painted figures. I like the variety in the poses. Is the cavalry next? One of my favorite battles because Daniel Morgan used each of his unit's strengths and his knowledge of his opponent to his advantage.
