Here is the photo I took to accompany my article on the Rogers Rangers Whaleboat for John's 2008 Annual. It is shown here on Lake Champlain where in the dark and rainy night the Rangers made their way towards the Raid on St. Francis. The backdrop is an actual shot of Lake Champlain.

Fantastic photo, Randy!^&cool I can't tell where the photo ends and the diorama begins.

Thats a really nice shot, Randy! Can you shoot another image showing the length of the boat from bow to stern to show some more depth of the piece? Maybe at an angle would be nice. The water is very cool w/ it's small waves.

awesome Randy,
it reminds me when I read the Northwest Passage book! My passion for French Indian Wars born just with that book many many years ago. Thank you for sharing!!

Hi Randy, I like both, but I think your first one is really good. Something about that boat being out in the middle of the lake alone is really stiring. I will have to see about getting the 2008 annual.

Fantastic shot and back drops on both pictures. Water is simply perfect. Can you tell me what it is?
Thanks -- Larry
