Gentle Friends,

I have come to the end of my OTSN photos. As a final gesture, I thought I would show you some of the treasures I found in Ted Dedden's room. As you know, Ted is the owner and artist of Tedtoy.

While Ted stocks many different brands of toy soldiers, he produces and sells his own figures under the Tedtoy banner. He also paints some of the masters for W. Britains, consequently he is a very busy man. In spite of being busy, Ted always greets his friends and customers with great warmth. Without a doubt, he is one of my favorite dealers.

First, I shall show you some of Ted's own figures. They are available for purchase at the Tedtoy website and they are sold under the Tedtoy label.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Gentle Friends,

Ted also carries an extensive line of figures manufactured by W. Britains.

Warmest personal regards,

Gentle Friends,

One of my absolute favorite manufacturers is Monarch Regalia. Monarch Regalia produces beautiful glossy figures. They offer a variety of lines, but my favorite line is their Japanese Samurai figures. To the best of my knowledge, Ted is the only North American source for the wonderful figures. Now, lets see if I can find a couple photos of Monarch Regalia figures.

Yes, I believe I have found a few pictures! Look below:

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Gentle Friends,

My final photographs from Ted's room feature more of the Monarch Regalia Samurai figures. I find these lovely figures impossible to resist!

I appreciate your kindness in viewing my photographs and I hope you enjoyed the tours. Perhaps I can share more such photos with you next year. Until then,...

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Pat,
I've been (silently) enjoying all your touring photos and commentary of the show and the sites you enjoyed. Thank you for sharing so generously with us!
Now, for the big question! do you think Ted would make a Royal Navy version of the below set(s)?
Mike

Hi Mike,

You are very welcome for the photos. I'm glad you enjoyed them and I wish I had taken more to share with you. Maybe I will be able to take more photos next year.

I do not know if Ted would paint a Royal Navy version of the ACW sailors. I know he paints both Union and Confederate versions of the sailors. I recommend you give him a call. He is very approachable and I am certain he would talk with you about your request. If you need contact information, I will be happy to supply it to you. Let me know if you need the information.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Hi Mike,

I too echo Pat's view that Ted is very understanding and will always go the extra mile to meet customers requirements. However be aware of the possible charge levied by customs and excise when your order arrives in the UK. I got stung a couple of years ago now when ordering some ACW cavalry from Ted as not only was my order delayed by customs they tacked on additional payment of £16.00 before the Post Office would release the parcel to me. Being a collector of mounted cavalry subjects I am a huge admirer of Teds own figures, but this experince I have to say has put me off ordering anymore no matter how good the exchange rate might become. For collectors on a very tight budget this sort of charge is not to be under estimated.

Anyway I hope that Ted is able to help with naval set.

Regards

Martin

Pat, and Martin,
Thanks for the response! That would be oh so neat to have a RN Launch!
Mike

Thanks for the photos Pat. It's always wonderful to see so many of these toy soldiers together.

Hi Russell,

You are very welcome for my photographs. I only wish I had more to share.

It was great meeting you and your wife in Chicago. I am very glad you were able to attend the show and we were able to connect!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Martin, vote the sobs out of office, how dare they tax your toy soldiers
