I'm not so sure about that. Brazil and Portugal should be able to go through but Ivory Coast could pull an upset draw. Spain and Chile are good teams and Switzerland can surprise with a defensive draw.

Looking forward to the start of play.

That Ivory Coast is in there is what makes this a difficult group. Spain will go ahead easily and let the other minnows fight it out for second.

The US press seems to think that the US got a favorable draw, with all due respect to Ales :)

I still can't believe North Korea to make it to South Africa, but it is in the Group of Death too.

Yo Troopers, the thing to remember with tournament football is, if your going to win it doesn't matter who you play you have to beat them all. Plus there is a lot of luck factors involved, bad referee decisions, ( dont forget the hand of Henry) and the hand of god:mad: I remember England had to beat Poland at Wembley to qualify years back it was a 90 minute massacre yet Poland won 1-0. Sometimes you think there is no justice in football, its a game the best team does not always win. So fingers crossed we get past all the pitfalls:D.
Bernard.

If there's any justice, France will be eliminated in the First round.

Easy group for Spain, the European champions, but at the crossroads we face Brazil, very complicated rival

That will be tough for us then, to prevail over the Cariocas.
