Hi all,

Rob just started a great thread on K&C future releases so I stole his idea:smile2:...what are you hoping to see in 2012 for First Legion?? all lines included, even some that haven't been mentioned for future releases.

I'm hoping to see of course more Stalingrad releases and a few more vehicles/tanks/guns, would really like to see some type of German mortar set, and some casualties of both dead and wounded for both sides, and of course what would a post be without me begging for a Western Front theme for WWII:smile2: so that concludes my hopes and wishes for 2012, anyone else have any ideas??...Sammy

Happy 2012 Sammy, hope you get loads of WW2 FL goodies:)

As a late war collector this probably sounds like treason, but I actually would be intrigued with some early war pieces from the Poland and French campaigns. For Crusader, I'd like to see some siege weapons added to what are already great figures. Whatever happens, I'm betting it's going to be a fun year for collecting.

I agree 100% with the Crusader weapons, my friend collects this line so I get to see them up close and think some weapons would be great!!, and I agree again Mike, it's gonna be a fun year!!!...Sammy

Obviously for me I am anxious to see what 2012 will bring to the FL AWI range beyond the upcoming release of the British 22nd Rgmt of Foot. Would love to see some New Jersey Continental troops and perhaps some Native American allies for both sides. To fill in the gap while waiting on AWI releases, I am also anxious to see what ACW releases will be offered . . . . .
:) Mike

No suprise, but I'm with Mike on this. I hope to see some Continental troops this next year, following the previewed 22nd Foot. Also, an American AWI command set would be fine too.....

Though I haven't got any of FL's WW2 range, I bet there are a number of guys waiting on Western Front releases. Personally, I would like to see some early '45 Americans, preferable the 30th Division, which was my grandfathers divison. By doing some early '45, you could get a good mix of Parson's jackets, overcoats and the later M43 uniform, while at the same time, a mix of leggings/shoes and buckle boots. That would make for some good variety. Also, I have pics of my grandfather's regiment, the 119th, serving alongside some M10 tank destroyers and even some new M24 light tanks, which would add variety for the AFV's. Anyway, just a thought.:smile2:

Agree wholeheartedly with "Medieval" siege engines and for the Renaissance range Swiss and French soldiers.

Let's see, in no particular order of preference:

Soviet Naval Infantry

Union and Confederate Artillery ( Make the Confederates the Washington Artillery of New Orleans)

Standard Union Infantry

Union Signal troops

Union and Confederate Sharpshooters

Confederate Cavalry

Prussian Cavalry

Royal Marines (Bunker Hill)

More Waterloo British and French Line Infantry (Perhps new regiments)

And for a New Line, in honor of the Bicentenial of the War of 1812, how about the Battle of New Orleans (Particularly since Joh Jenkins seems disinclined to do it)

with all this on my plate at the moment and more to arrive I'm pretty busy :redface2:

Russian Jagers
ACW 19th Indiana (Iron Brigade)
Any Artillery
AWI Continental Infatry

Hi, maybe someone knows...the '18th Infantry' that is coming out, are those 1815 uniforms that would be good for Waterloo?

I believe the other FL French Infantry releases so far have been uniforms good up until 1813, is that correct?

Oh and to answer the thread, I would love any further British Napoleonic releases, Zulu and Crimean War!

Chris

Hi Chris ,
Its kinda hard to see from this picture but from what I can see I would say the uniforms look to be pre regulations of 1812 cut ( Bardin ) and I would guess they are to be for the earlier Battles but I don't think many people viewing your display would know the difference if you were to put them with your Waterloo collection . I know I'm not to anal and as I'm collecting figures from all the battles so far on offer I'm just happy First Legion are providing me with Fantastic French Line figures {bravo}}. Regards Gebhard

Sorry my knowledge of the regt goes back but not that far,,2/18 inf 1967

I'll take Romans, Romans and more Romans^&grin I would also like to see some WWII American Airborne 101 or 82nd.

I would like to see a new range in the Pacfic happen. Not to many Jap toy soldiers out there. With First Legions style I think they would be a smashing range and one really not covered much. Simmo.

For the Stalingrad range:
  • Sd.Kfz.251/1
  • Sd.Kfz.251 (specialized varient)
  • Pz.IV (short)
  • KV1
  • Kubel
  • German/Soviet mortar teams
  • German/Soviet light MGs

For the Renaissance range:
  • French Gendarmes
  • Swiss Pikeman
