2013 New Releases - ACW (1 Viewer)

Ken/Richard: That Joe Hooker sculpt/paint is superb...well crafted, accurate and very timely for Chancellorsville. Now on to Gettysburg and you guys are hitting on all cylinders. What a fantastic lineup of new products and accessories. Please roll out some cavalry. It's a branch that is ignored and poorly covered by the whole industry but I know you promised to catch up this back half of the year. Please deliver on that. I'm OK with understanding that infantry and artillery pull the boat in this industry but a little horse flesh and their riders would really tie in the whole 1863 topic. Besides no one does it better than WB. Thanks.

Great group of releases . Going to have to make some tough decisions ! Who said "you can't have it all " ? Oh yeah , my wife !

Regards
Kirk

PS Ken the in progress shots are cool . Great work

Thanks so much for your kind comments.
We have worked hard to close gaps and add figures to tell stories in our Civil War series.
As mentioned elsewhere the other branches of service will have significant additions before the year is out too, including a very impressive piece I think everyone who is a serious ACW collector will want.
All the Best,
Ken

Still keeping my fingers crossed for some new Chamberlain & 20th Maine figures.

:)

This is some pretty cool stuff from Ken. Now, I know why he is so busy :wink2:

I hope you like what we have released so far ... there is more coming throughout the year with many new figures already finished. I thought you might like to see a few more images of Jeb Stuart, this is the sculpt right after I finished it.

I hope you enjoy a little peek behind the scenes!

These behind the scenes photos of the sculpts are really a great treat. How do you get such perfect buttons?

It looks like Mr. Stuart shares some similarities with another Confederate officer. Mr. Howard appears to have a twin as well.

Love these glimpses into the world of the master. IMO there is no one better.

:)

Delighted to see the release of the US CIvil War figure sets (Union and Confederate infantry plus officers) in the Archive range. Well done! I remember the originals forming the core of my "Little Wars" armies in the late 1950s/early 60s. Any chance of the cavalry and artillery sets?

I still have the original ACW sets that I inherited from my uncle Harold and I am looking forward to adding these new sets to their ranks in my small Classic Gloss display.
