Hi all,
I just finished the 2015 London evening event figure last night. This year we will be offering a 24th Foot firing from the barricade, January 22/23, 1879. The figure comes with a short section of mealie bags, but will not be attached do he can be used in other locations. I think collectors will find him very useful.

You are absolutely AMAZING, dare I say AWESOME !!! .... Yet another SUPERB figure. How on earth you have the time to sculpt so many varied figures
is beyond me.

I will be there at this year's London event as I attended my first one last year and loved every minute of it.

Is there a date set so I can put it in my diary.

If it is the same as last year so long that you are a Club Member & you pay the ticket price which was about £35 then you can either collect your figure on the evening or if you cannot attend then Katie at Britain's will post the figure onto you.

I thought I would add to this, by providing some details of the Members Evening Reception.

We are pleased to announce that the London Scottish Regiment Headquarters in Westminster is to be this year's venue for the W Britain Evening Reception this December, The Drill hall is located very close to Victoria Station and St James Park underground Station is also home to the London Scottish Regimental Museum. Members who attend the event will get the opportunity to take a tour of the museum galleries with the museum curator, courtesy of the W Britain Collectors Club.

As always we will have a good selection of food, drinks and activities on the night! By attending you will be able to collect your exclusive Event Figure on the evening!

Included in your ticket price of £35.00

Hi Ken,
Can you confirm that the London event figure is the 24th Foot 'Defending the Barricade' Zulu figure? I've just received my membership pack and the application form for the event doesn't mention this figure, but does mention 50059C British Royal Welsh Fusilier 1833. I'm a tad confused.

It might be a typo...I did not see the UK copy. I can tell you that the 1831 figure is just a new club figure, and the AZW figure on the barricade is for the December event. I will post pictures of it very soon.

I had to look twice myself. It was a little confusing. The way it was printed made it look as if the Fusilier 50059C figure was going to be the event figure.
Alas I am so pleased that The 24th Foot sitting on the Sandbag Firing (Defending The Barricade) is The event figure.

I for one am hoping to attend this event, as last year's event was simply superb. The silent Auction, Specialist talks, getting to meet Mr.Britains daughter,who I got chatting to by chance, along with the Fantastic Buffet put on by Britains & Free bar.... What more could you want, & all for only £35.00 + Free event figure.

oh I forgot to mention I also got to meet both Ken and his dear wife. Both such lovely and genuine people.

I Recommend this event to everyone.

P.S If you don't fancy going let me know & I for one would be more than happy to purchase your event figure from you. lol
