2016 Texas Toy Soldier Show Flyer (1 Viewer)

George,
You should consider coming to the show this year, 10th anniversary and I'm am confident this will be even the best one yet. Matt from HB comes down and ships his stuff a week prior.
Only a plane trip away. Fly straight into San Antonio airport

Wayne

George...

take a weekend off...
come this year...
let your Pop do the shipping...^&grin
just bring your exclusives...
we'll have some fun...

get some senoritas and Margaritas...

or maybe two senoritas named Margarita...

Yeah George what the hell?

If you come to the TTSS, I promise to go your way some day and I mean that. I may even ride biotch on the back of MM's Harley a la Easy Rider with a football helmet to get there.

I refuse to stay at the Menger...I get creeped out man. Last time I was there it felt like The Shining. That is just me. I think Mike Miller "see's dead people" so I think he is oblivious to it all, especially with a drink in his hand. In fact, I saw him having a conversation one time at the Menger with...nobody. See what I'm saying? He's a legend. Personally, I think the ghosts come out of retirement to visit with Mike Miller.

IF you do come George, stop eating for three days prior to the show to be nice and empty when you get here. We will feed you to you "plumb grunt".

John from Texas

PS: Mike, I made a few changes to Ambers title which I absolutely love!

Princesa de King's X & Country San Antonio de Bexar-Amber Rose Maria Conchita Alonso De La Suerta Martinez-Garcia, etal.

John...

what is "plumb grunt"?

is that something a plumber unclogs from a toilet?

sounds nasty!!!

and on Amber...

she actually had already added the "Princesa de King's X & Country San Antonio de Bexar"...

which is fitting...she is the boss...

and you gotta quit drinking that cheap Scotch...^&grin...there are no ghosts at the Menger...

hang with me at the Menger...we'll drink some good high quality non-hallucinogenic Scotch...

Wayne, Mike and John,
Trust me fellas, I'd love to come, been to San Antonio a few times, it's a great city. The problem is as you all know MMTS is a one man band and I have a major show the weekend before at Valley Forge PA, then another very good show the weekend after in Annandale VA.

No way, no how I can do three shows in a row in PA, TX and VA, plus if I were come to San Antonio, I'd drive down with a van full of merchandise and again, now way I can cram all that in three weeks in a row, all three shows would suffer.................

I'd really love to come and hand out with you guys and Mike, not sure on the margaritas, but I'm down for the senoritas.............

George,
Unless the PA show is a given for you tried and true, you could skip PA and Hit the Texas Show. From there head North to VA. I helped Matt lay out last year for a bit after my tables were set up.
No problem for me pitching in to help a neighbor ! Just a thought

Wayne

George,

George, man can I add some "wine and cheese" to that schedule señor? Yeah, we'll all help you all. Don't you got an assistant like Nicholas at Crown? He road trips it! Kilt and all. C'mon man, your George from MMTS for Crysssst sakes.

Open arms brother, open arms....

PA is a very good show, no chance on skipping that one, that would be the only way to do it really and like you said, then go from TX to VA.

Again, it's a non starter for me, but thanks for the offer to assist with the set up..................

I do have an assistant, my faithful sidekick Larry Allen, but even he's not crazy enough to want to go to that show, just way too far of a drive.

Yeah, Nick is the road warrior, drives all over the country, flies when he has to to attend the West Coaster, good for him.

Besides, not sure if you fellas caught the announcement, but our hosts here have hired Richard Walker and their intention is to "Expand our reach", ie, go to shows, so they'll be coming to the Texas show this year from what I heard.

I'm sure it's a nice show, but there are so many dollars out there to be spent, the slices per dealer from the dealer pie get smaller if you catch my drift.

Maybe if I was 15 years younger I'd do it.

But I'm not.........................would love to hang out with you, Mike and Wayne, that's for sure..................maybe ya'll can come to Chicago this year, the town will never be the same.....................:wink2:

I might come to Chicago next year...

had a good time last year and it's quite a show...

not to mention the room trading...

but I can see why the distance and your schedule would not allow Texas for you...

George,

I hear ya! I am going to make a solid effort to go to Chicago this year. I want to go soooooo bad. So, yeah meet in the middle. But, I do want to get to the East coast for a trip. I have a very good military friend in Jersey I want to visit and another in New Hampshire. Plus, I have never been to NY. I have been through Bangor, Maine but only through and did a spell at Ft. Dix, NJ and that sucked. The only time I have spent in the east coast was a short visit to FBI Academy in Quantico, VA and the Pentagon in D.C.

So, I want to do a "tour" if you will and eat and eat and eat.......

JOhn, you definitely should come to Chicago this year! It was such a great time last year, I can't wait for this year.
I'd love to come to TX, but I too and going to the Valley Forge show and two in a row is a bit much even for this guy! When you get east, look me up brother! {sm3}

Would be great if you could make it to Chicago; Mike was a ball to hang out with last year, only problem is he corrupted me too much Friday night, I'm a good Greek Orthedox boy and he kept handing me drinks all night..................:wink2:.................I think at one point I did my Spauling Smails impression from Candyshack and was going around drinking half empty beers people were leaving unattended............I can only imagine the trouble that would ensue if you, me and Mike rampaged through that hotel bar Friday night.................{eek3}

...and you didn't eat what was left over on the plates?...for shame George...for George...

Leave no appetizer unattended.

Well...............Talked to Amber yesterday to reserve a few Tables and ask if there were any updates for the Texas Show in May.
Everything is still being planned out as far as Guest speakers, events, etc..........I would imagine once the West Coaster is done
then things for San Antonio will kick into high gear !

Wayne

Wayne...
all this West Coaster talk has gotten me excited...
I made reservations at the Menger this morning...
and did table reservations with Amber also...
see you there...

Chicago no doubt is the biggie... but I think I've had the most fun at Texas. You can't beat the Menger for the vibe of its venue! The après-show cocktails under the gaze of Colonel Roosevelt and the bull moose, the great symposiums, the Alamo across the street.

Sad that I'll miss it this year. Tip a Lone Star or a Shiner for me there, lads!

I will tip one of each in your honor!
