Thank you all for your kind words. It's always been my pleasure to capture (in photo) the spirit of every show I attend. I always appreciate when others take pictures of shows I don't attend and post them. Especially the guys from London! Many thanks guys.
I know there were plenty of manufactures owners present at the show (e.g. KC, W.Britians, Black Hawk, Collector Showcase, Del Prado and more). It was great seeing everyone again and especially good to see Richard Walker (Del Prado owner).
I know there was talk about future release as always. However, I wasn't present in those conversations. I'm not being coy and I'm not avoiding betraying any confidences. There wasn't a dinner this year for the first time due hotel ownership change. Next year KC promises there will be. I believe them
What I did hear a lot among dealers and collectors was the state of the hobby.
I hope that helps. Maybe someone else could share more with all of us.
What was clear to me is that Texas Show is getting better and better each year. Andy seems sincere about making it better by appealing to a global crowd and trumpeting San Antonio, TX as a great vacation trip. I think he has something there.
I live in San Antonio, TX and it's a boom town and growing rapidly. I bet most of you didn't know that San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the United States and it's the #1 tourist destination in Texas.
