Qatar got the 2022 WC. It's going to be bloody hot down there for that one.

Too bad, I was hoping the USA would get it. Would have loved to gone to the games (assuming I'm still kicking by then ).

The two hosts were a surprise.

Qater seems to be a strange location for it. Small country and small population (but lots of money !!!). Will be interesting to see which countries get the stadiums when they have finished with them.

Australia only got 1 vote !!! The guess is it was from Germany (Beckenbauer).
