Hi - just noticed that Fish is from Maine - I was watching GODS & GENERALS last week and was interested to learn about the battle of Fredericksburg in Dec 1862. In particular the activities of the 20th Maine Infantry Regt under Col Chamberlain.
Does anyone have any figures depicting this Regt.

The TSSD figure from there Union set is about as close as you can get to a Chamberlain in plastic.
I never use him in my ACW set ups as i find the pose rather odd ....The wounded guy makes a good "Buster"

I have those too. Fairly decent figures for painting. I am working on a large ACW commission that includes those as well as some dis-mounted cavalry.

I think Frontline used to make 20th Maine figures.I had a Conte dio called Lions of the Roundtop that was the 20th Maine.

"Buster" has some uses, especially his legs for other poses but here's a few changes.

The whole Union set from TSSD has only the Chamberlain figure as anything close to correct Union uniforms. The set makes much better Confederates with the short jackets or high colored tunics on most of the figures.

Possibilities of Boers and what the Australians called themselves as well.
