Anonymity demands I don’t reveal my sources but it looks like the end. I talked to my dealer this evening and he was alerted by another to come down to one of the main 21st Century distribution points in the USA, to pick up all the remaining merchandise he can handed for pennies on the dollar.

The dealer is telling my dealer it’s the end.

Their website doesn't appear to have been updated in a while, either, except to have added a picture of the 88mm Flak gun.

I saw their 1/48th stuff repackaged under another company's name...forgot the name but it was on Diecast Direct's site.

I noticed that the supplier Monkey Depot has all the 21C stuff at pretty good discount. I think that 21C are headed downhill fast. Too bad, I like their plastic tanks - good conversion fodder!

Discount heck, they are practically giving the stuff away

Let me state that I really like 1-18th figures and vehicles, I,m sure I,m the minority on this board about this line.
But I,m afraid this 1-18th line may soon go by the wayside.
Go to Monkey Depot for some outstanding sales, they get you a little on shipping, but overall there are great bargains.

I'm with you, Gary, I like the 1/18th aircraft. But I'm used to tracking them down on eBay and elsewhere on the secondary market, since I never saw most of them in the stores, anyway. The WalMarts in my area used to carry them, but they only ever stocked P-51s, P-47s and Bf-109s. I never saw the Hellcat or Corsair in stores, and by the time the TBF came out, WalMart was phasing out the large aircraft.

Those are all on my long-term wish list, along with the P-40, and the SBD that was sold by an outfit out of Texas, Admiral Toys, I think they were called.

Prost!

Just came across another version of the Maurder III with a more weathered, camo scheme, named Heidei. Never knew that one was around. I wonder what other pieces they past released without alot of fanfare.

I know they made that in 1/48th scale but I never saw the 1/32nd.

 I Heard 21st Century if Filing for Bankruptcy Chapter 13, or 11, Recuperating, and may come back strong again possible offering other amd more Toy Scales?;):D

I happened to find the P40-1 at a walmart awhile ago,,great item,,hope you locate one

We'll see how they do. They state from the start that their offerings will be limited-run items, so expect high prices. Also, as far as "100% accurate markings" go, if they make a Flying Tigers P-40, and they're having their models made in Communist China, I don't expect that the Nationalist sunbursts will be painted on. Maybe they'll pack the stickers in the boxes, once the models reach the States.

Also, there's an image on the page that says, "American made", but the announcement only indicates that the company is "American owned and operated". Those aren't the same things.

So far, all they have listed in a P-51D. Like I said, we'll see how they do. It will be nice to have some new 1/18 aircraft out on the market.

Prost!

This is the link, by the way, to the company that I mentioned a while back, Admiral Toys:

They also have 1/18th aircraft available in their catalog. At one time, they were supposed to be bringing out an SBD, but right now, their website only shows a couple different Me-262's and F-86's.

Prost!

Well if they are true to their word, 'All go' sounds good.

This is great news for the collector.

Are they only going to be 1/18 scale or will they be releasing 1/32 too? Either way, I remain hopeful for a success entrance into the market place despite the fact I collect metal exclusively these days. The description called ‘limited edition” is interesting and does that mean a totally different sales distribution channel then the Wal-Mart’s, Targets, etc. (e.g. dealers instead or Internet Sales exclusively).

Additionally, I hope they've figured out the seemingly messing ingredient in past called "Cash Flow"! Let’s all hope they accomplish this because Toy Soldiers (IMO) needs a relatively inexpensive entry point for the new collectors.

Hi, Carlos, to your latter point, I suspect that they haven't, not if they announce from the start that these are to be limited-edition items.

Prost!
