Was it 28mm ACW figures used in the Bull Run diorama that Wesley Snipes had in the movie "Murder at 1600"? What was the make of those figures? They looked similar to these.

I would be interested in a smaller scale as well, as long as they were cheaper, well-sculpted and come pre-painted. The bigger scales are taking up too much room for dioramas and can be quite costly. Not sure, if I would go smaller than 40mm, though... Maybe, we just started a new trend!
I've worked in 15mm scale ACW and Napoleonic dioramas with great effect. You can get great photographic effects.
