Stunning looking Cavalry by K&C....But I thought the 2nd Life Guards rode black horses?
Any thoughts on this!...not a bean counter just curious?

We didn't adopt black horses until the 1830s. The commanding officer of the Second actually rode a grey at Waterloo. The head kit was black though.

Thanks Martin for the reply!...I had been waiting for a chance to go though some books,
"The Waterloo Companion" page 219, notes that the Life Guards were on "Large Black Horses"......Same as the (Blues)
You could be right about the Officer though!
