While reinforcements file in from the rear, Lt. Hawkins desperately manuevers gun #2 into place to support Capt. Hill's line as French Militia and their Delaware and Ottawa allies assault the fort at McDowell's Mill.

Very nice large scale battle scene. It's great to see this for the French & Indian war figures. Between you and Konrad's 1st Foot Guards on parade we're getting quite a treat. I bet you are looking forward to the stockade and gate:)

Thanks Randy. I have two stockade sets preordered and can hardly wait to receive them.

I know my pics aren't near as good as yours, but I am still arranging on my dining room table - haven't even started thinking about making serious dioramas. My photography skills aren't up to yours either - but hey, I am having fun.

I am quikly finding out that JJD figures are slightly smaller than the K&C Rev War figures I have. I have really been taken by the JJD FIW line and I believe I am a total convert. I think my K&C figures are expendable at this point and will probably be put up for sale in order to generate funds for future JJD items.

The main thing is having fun and sharing. It has made my retirement enjoyable. I had hardly ever used a camera in my life until last year and the forum has given me a chance to explore something new. Thank goodness for digital cameras and the web for I never could have done this the old way.

I had to chuckle when you mentioned you were retired. I will be 60 this year and retired early from a serious job and now have a "fun" job and call myself semi-retired. I think my wife thinks I have lost my mind to want to start collecting (and playing) with toy soldiers. Oh well, as I say often to people I know, "Never become so old that you cannot enjoy your youth"

Regards - Mike
