hi all,
To me the best use of 3D printing is repairing completely broken tracks on vehicles. Ive been doing it for a while now and always successful. If a vehicle arrives well packed any broken track is still in the box and can easily be glued back on, but occasionally they arrived totally smashed. god knows how!
Example below of a Figarti V2 command vehicle which arrived with totally smashed tracks (!). But found a 3D seller on ebay with the correct tracks and asked him to simply rescale to 1:30 and £30 later new tracks. Just need to fix and paint. David Marshall did this one and it looks wonderful.
Cheers,
Stefan
