Very nice trio of figures, now among my favorites. Need more like this. Bunches, actually. And a few female figures.

Really great seeing this trio up nice and close, thanks for posting! I'd agree about the ladies too, no fort or campsite is complete without them^&grin

I totally agree Ken, I got the duo 'at ease' just yesterday, they are very very nice like the third guy in the picture. I hope John will release some similar different poses to add closer to the new American pickets.
I'd also like, over the women, some soldiers engaged in military 'corvé', to be 'on fatigue' in English?!?...such as peel the potatoes, repair the stockade or carry a log etc.

I found some interesting pcts suggesting fort life sets, hoping you like,
cheers

Carlo .... wonderful pics, especially the group pulling the cannon up the slope. Just imagine  a set of Figures from John doing this task.
WOW. There are so many more that I see that would make tremendous scenes.

GREAT FIND!

Some inspirational photos Carlo. If these were John's source of material, I would have to get on board for this series, it would be to hard to resist. ^&cool, Robin.

Potato Peelers, Axemen Sign Me Up and please, please some good oxen/cattle.

Just for For Fun: Partial List of Shipping for Braddock's Expedition starting on Page 478. Board of Ordnance, so no food stuffs or clothing.

Notice the Rifled Carbines, but only 12, on page 483.

Just need figures using some of these items. Amazing we know so much about elements of this battle and at the same time, so little. Key orderly books lost, but we do know that Braddock brought 13 pounds of twine with him on the expedition, 12,000 sand bags and 15,000 10 Penny Nails, just in case.
