Yo Jeff, great stuff again. Just put this in the Balaklava album, also resized all the photo's in the album took me hours, but look s a lot better now. Got to do all the others now. Thanks mate.
Bernard. :D

Bernard -- just viewed your Balaklava album -- congratulations on a job well done. YOu have all of the English regiments now right? Are you going to collect the Russians and Turks?

Dick

Sorry, but this thread is not finished yet! Due to the Officer figure being transferred to the RHA (see new thread) a replacement has arrived but is wearing the wrong uniform, so a bit of a repaint will be in order.

I thought I should use the correct terminology as opposed to Dead Black Sheep!

Btw what colour should the horse be? Too much black may not be the best colour scheme?

Jeff

lol, does sound better than Dead Black Sheep.:D Colour of horse as long as its not GREEN:eek: The three Troopers are on dark brown horses, so I will leave that to you, whatever you think will look the best, after all "GADS SIR" he is an Officer & a Gentleman.
Bernard.

Bernard, you must have some Green Horses in your collection. The "Green Horse" was the old regimental nickname of the 5th Dragoon Guards from their facing colour at the time.

GREAT STUFF!!! :D:D.........a quick repaint to transform these into the 5th then??

Jeff

............and what is wrong with a Green horse??

Jeff

lol WHAT ARE YOU LIKE. Nobody in Ireland has seen a green horse, not even after 20 pints of the black stuff lol. But and this is TRUE, and you will probably laugh, I have two close friends over here both really stable people one Irish & one from Bolton who have seen a Leprechaun, so who am I to argue about green horses.

Yo trooper, had to get the books out again, learn something new every time you do a post. The green Horse, had to go back to the 1700s, but its another question I can answer on "Who wants to be a Millionaire" lol.
Nice one trooper & thanks for the info.
Bernard.

Well I thought about it! :D.........but decided in the end to repaint the horse in brown :(......... just the plume and gold/silver detail to go and a nice repainted GREEN base.
