Very cool Terry, I can see I'll have to get that gun - more expense  :D

Very nicely done scene. It would be nice if Figarti comes out with the proper tractor for their 8" howitzer and 155mm gun (the 18-ton M4 High Speed Tractor) or if K&C will ever make the right howitzer for their prime mover (the M5 towed the 155 howitzer and 4.5 inch gun)

Yes, the M-5 towed the 105 mm and 155 mm guns and not the 8 inch or Long Tom, but most people would not know that . I do not know if it could have towed the 8 inch, 203 mm gun although they had almost the same horsepower - 107 hp vs 110 hp. Besides, the M-5 and 8 inch look good together. Now that you have spilled the beans :D:D here is a photo of an M4 towing an 8 inch gun.

Looks like a great gun...First thing I would do with it is get my brushes out and paint it up, K/C colors and style ,to match that prime mover...Michael

Only if it's your taste...just don't feel driven to do so as though one is right & wrong. As is, it's a wonderful display of early & late OD

Don't worry. I am not going to paint either one. Besides, at Bastogne, they had to make due with what equipment they had left.
