Beautiful scene, Steve. While your rocks work well, it would be nice to see K&C build a scenic (SP) stable; could also work for the Cattle Drive theme.

EDIT: after reading that Brad purchased this set and seeing one here, I may have to add to my wish list. Been looking at it for some time. I esp. like the lantern.

Yes a touching scene. K&C does have a stable in it’s Desert Village series and from memory I think they did another version also at a later stage, but still quite a few years ago, so another one now would not go astray. Robin.

You're correct, Robin.

The Stables (SP033) as part of the Desert Village collection retired in 2014 and the Village Stable (SP083) retired in 2019, both excellent sets I might add (pictured below). I was thinking more along the line of a simple open wooded structure like that in a traditional Nativity set.

Yep those are the two I was thinking of. Maybe a search of Christmas products on the net may turn up a Nativity scene that could fit the bill. A lot of model builders on this forum could no doubt put together just what you require, hopefully you have some contacts. Robin.
