This one is not based on any specific battle, I added some new figures to my collection and wanted to use them in a diorama; the Wheats Tigers, 14th Brooklyn, Berdan Sharpshooters, dismounted cavalry and some of the Iron Brigade figures are all new....

Last few pictures; many, many thanks to Bob, Mike and Chris as the three of them with their ACW dioramas inspired me to get back into ACW, I'd been focused on Napoleonics and WWII up until then, so thanks very much to the three of you.....

George, you never fail to please with your battles and there is some fine painting and basing on these new figures! ^&cool {bravo}}

Jeff :salute::

Thanks Jeff, I always appreciate you taking the time to comment on my collection. Found some old Qualitycast castings at a recent show in Virginia...........

As always George, once again you have provided a nice series of potos for all of us "Froggers" to look at. I am amazed at the paint detail and shading effects on those small figures. Very well done and certainly some nice additions to your 20mm collection.
:smile2: Mike

Thanks Mike, glad you like the figures, even though the scale is not commonly sought after, which is why I get all the good stuff for myself when it does pop up............:wink2:

And thanks again for resparking my interest in ACW.............

Great work George. It's nice finding the good old items that match your collection isn't it!
You might need a bigger table soon.
Have fun! Table and troops are outstanding as usual!

Finding the old stuff is half the fun IMO. And your right, a bigger table is in order I think, thanks for your comments, I appreciate it, you need to get back to OTSN again one of these years............

I have to say what a fantastic dio You have here. Yes if You keep going You are going to need a bigger table. Keep up the great work and keep those pics coming. A part of our history close to My heart. "Mr Colt 45"

Thanks very much, glad you like it, the ACW pushes my buttons as well.

Already have a larger diorama in the planning stages, stayed tuned to this channel.

Amazing diorama George! With this scale you can really get a huge detailed display going!

Do you paint these yourself or do the soldiers come painted?

Thanks Jose, glad you like it; I've painted a lot of them myself, others I either bought prepainted or commissioned someone to do them for me......

Answers to some questions asked;

The mat is actually 5 that are 2 feet by 2 feet, the terrain board with fencing, walls, roads and buildings was scratch built by Paul Darnell, he's a pretty famous modeler from the Uk, he's done a couple of items for me, sadly he's packed in the business, I was fortunate to get the items he did make for me.

The apple orchard is also scratch built by Battlefield Terrain Concepts, a US based company that specializes in small scale ACW terrain, the trees can be removed/moved around within the fenced in area....................

Glad your down in that cellar again George! Great display and nice pic's.

Tom

Thanks Tom; when all else fails, head to the basement.
