Deepest respects to all those killed or wounded 70 years ago today in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. This surprise attack although terrible for those involved brought America into the War and assured final Victory and liberation for those under the German or Japenese heel. My admiration and respect go to our American friends , allies and veterans on this 70th anniversary.

I commemorate by watching "Tora! Tora! Tora!", and re-reading Walter Lord's "Day of Infamy".

Prost!

I would like to remember my father and his two brothers who, like thousands of others, joined the armed services within days of this 'Day of Infamy' and helped the Allies to ultimate victory. They are all my heroes. -- Al

Yep. That night instead of going on leave, my father and his unit were guarding the Cape Cod Canal.

Just in case.

I find it amazing that we are still fortunate to have WWII veterans of pearl harbor able to tell their story.
