Okay how you know I love to build sand castles is a bit of a worry ^&grin There must be a mole in my organization.^&cool
So, I build this mega elaborate castle BUT . then, me the mighty sailor, uses a wooden door as my proud ship.{sm2}
I'd be shamed right out of the NAVY .. (OR WORSE) .. be traded to the ARMY.
Good thing is I do get around, don't I?

Stupendous water and wave effects, Steve. IS that some sort of Gel?

Perhaps the miniature Larry is a better builder than Shipwright !
Water effect is clear sealant, which you may remember me using for the Marines beach. It's now a few months old and whilst it's supposed not to discolour it is developing a Brownish yellow tinge. could be a reaction to using two different types ? It was certainly worth trying, perhaps not worth repeating.

Lets just hope Larry's raft don't run into Rob's latest photo of U96 and the rough sea !
Mini Larry would definitely have something to look melancholy about !

With LaRRy building his latest sand castle on some faraway and remote island, his mate, George, is wondering how he is going to get it off the island and home for his next Toy Soldier show table setup. Looks like they're going to need to build a bigger raft.
"Another fine mess you've gotten us in, LaRRy," replies George.

Well ... weighting the odds of survival on a small raft vs. a German U-Boat I am afraid I would surrender and get captured. Going down with the ship may be a noble and heroic gesture but doing down with the raft ????? . But if I did choose the U-Boat I am sure that Steve will do a diorama and will save me.
Right, Steve? Ummm, Steve, Right? Steve? Steve? Hello ....
Hey Larry. Grumbling didn't go unnoticed about the raft, so I upgraded mini Larry to mini Georges fishing boat in part 3. Sorry budget doesn't stretch to a multimillionaires yacht !^&grin
