A final plea... (1 Viewer)

I don' t understand the meaning of this scene.....One prisoner going to be shot, one american officer and a waffen ss holding a red cross flag together....{sm2}

The American officer is actually a chaplain so maybe he's a captured chaplain.

The person to be shot and the chaplain is from BBA 07, The Price of Deception.

A German who was caught in an American uniform as a spy is going to be shot. The US chaplain is reading last rights and a German soldier is making a final plea for his life. (walked across lines using his flag). Cliffnote version.

When first made, The Price of Deception was a controversial set as it showed the execution of a soldier, albeit a German spy. Many did not like it.

Hi Guys

I didn't want to start a controversy. So if anyone is offended. I will apologize and will ask the moderators to remove this. I don't want to hurt anyone.

Thanks

Brad,

I think you did a nice job. I was just giving a little historical background on the set. Hope that was ok.

Brad, Interesting scene. I understood its intent as soon as I viewed it. 3 figures telling a story !

Brad:

Great scene and idea. I really like the creative use of all of the figures.
