"A Frontier on Fire" Wargame (1 Viewer)

EVzone, yes me too, I am looking forward to them, being released in the UK at Salute this weekend!
might you be there? Adam and I will be, and also David from TM Terrain, with one of his awesome boards! Can't wait.

I was really looking forward to Salute, but I won't be there as its my wedding anniversary on the Saturday........ Bad planning from me and the organisers!

I have one of David's boards which I picked up at one of the London shows a while ago; a snow covered landscape ideal for my Snowshoes collection. He is a great talent and a nice fella.

Hoping to catch up with you JJD UK guys soon, have a good show!

Actually you could get away with using some of the 40mm Trident AWi civilians and militia for the FIW period.

Hi Niels,

Thanks for the warm Danish welcome! Hopefully there won't be many more repaints - just more game photos :)

Bests,

Hi Chris,

I really like the repaints for the La Salle units. Those red coats really stand out nice.

We need to convince John that he needs to sell unpainted figures to the wargamers so we can paint up the units we need. :)

Good luck with your game. Looking forward to some pictures.

Also, I picked up the SAGA FIW rules. Well they are not SAGA, but are by the same company. I like what I have read so far. I just have not had time to play them yet. Life just keeps getting in the way of my toys. :)

Thanks, Matthew. Totally understand about life interfering with toys! Not sure I want to start with unpainted figures at this scale, though. At the speed I paint it would take eons to get an army on the table : )

I'm looking forward to photos of the game, too. I'll have 250 figures or so on a 5' x 10' table and will not have had a chance to array them all together before game day.

I've read the reviews of the "Saga" rules, but am so happy with the scale and playability of TVG that I haven't bitten that bullet, yet. I already have so many sets of rules I'll never play!

Thanks again for the feedback.
Chris
