Hi Guys,

Even in the midst of war there are moments of peace. Here a group of Australian Lighthorsemen say their farewells before mounting up and departing once more for battle.

As one Australian Corporal says goodbye to a Nursing Sister another feeds his trusty mount a fresh apple.
Nearby a crouching trooper reaches out to the Regimental mascot a young ‘Roo call “Skippy
All too soon the standing bugler will sound “Mount Up!” and these Australian Lighthorsemen will join their other mates and, a few months later, take part in one of the most epic cavalry charges of history... “Beersheba”.

1917 BEERSHEBA 2017
Later this month, on October 31 2017, will be the centenary of the charge and capture of the important Palestinian town of Beersheba in 1917.

KING & COUNTRY designs and produces the largest and most extensive range of Australian Light Horse figures (and their Turkish opposition) in the world today. The figures featured here are just a few of our latest additions to this exciting and dramatic series.

Best wishes,
Andy

These new guys and girls would go brilliantly well with the latest ALH campfire & resting figures too!:salute::

Nice little story going there Andy. Some more additions to my ALH collection in the next few weeks, cannot wait. Let's hope we will not have to wait another 100 years for another release^&grin, Robin.

Does need a few Kiwis now......( AHHHH what am I saying! {sm2})

Bravo Wayne mate, yes a couple of NZMR on foot sharing a brew with their Aussie cousins would go down a treat this side of the ditch and we could even add some sheep......^&grin{sm2}

Wonderful display of great figures! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Brendan
