The Patton museum here in Fort Knox, Ky used to have a King Tiger that was abandoned in the Ardennes. Seen it many times myself. But they recently moved it to Fort Benning Ga. along with a Panther. Get on google and type in "Patton museum King Tiger". They butchered the beast though...Someone thought it was a good idea to cut away most of the left side, and put in dummies behind plexi-glass for external viewing. What a shame. The museum also had,has Panzer III, a Stug, a Schwimwagon. And out back, outside in the elements, another Panther, and Panzer III. But I'm guessing these have all been shipped to Georgia by now......So yes there were King Tigers in the Battle of the Bulge.
Idiots; if they wanted to show people what the inside of a Tiger looked like they could have done it with a large computerized image display or a fabricated scaled wood mockupThe Patton museum here in Fort Knox, Ky used to have a King Tiger that was abandoned in the Ardennes.
