A small diorama by my father who appears to have moved even further from making biplanes.

This was a door prize that I won at a K&C dinner. It is a nice little vehicle and it certainly photographs quite well.

Great looking scene, Martin. Send our regards to your father!:salute::

Martin, Hats off to your Dad. He did a fine job on this Diorama scene. Hope he had fun creating it ! :salute::

Hi Jack,

What an excellent scene. I love the camel, camel nomad, and the structure which looks fantastic. Your landscaping is top notch as well. I also own that little Italian tank - nice piece I might add. Well done!

EDIT: Is the building made by John Jenkins? I had looked at a similar structure a few years back.

Yes ... its the Jenkins building. It is a remarkably useful piece and as I bought it at a time when the Australian dollar was at parity with the US it was very good value. I will pass on your kind words to my father. He is very pleased with it in his own humble way!

Thanks Wayne.

He is making some WW2 German armour at present so you may see a few things of interest. He does make me laugh when he talks about model forums and the fact that people take the details very seriously!

Thanks Moe!

His health does not really allow him to build the biplanes anymore but he is still keen on the models. I shall send him your regards!

Fantastic Martin & Dad.

It had a damaged fender and I suggested to Andy that something had gone wrong with the quality control in China. To his credit he did laugh ... kind of ... I think I made two ex-Hong Kong policemen bite their tongues simultaneously ... which as you know is no mean feat!

.......I would have liked to have seen that.:wink2:
