Hi guy's I have recieved my next Five figures by First Legion and have to say I am hooked. They are some of the best sculpting and painting I have seen in toy soldier figures. I now have Eight Germans fighting in Stalingrad and can see this rising as the new diorama I am building to fit them comes to a finish. They are great and I look forward for more releases. Simmo.

Congratulations, Simmo.

Because these figures could rarely be seen in person, are at a higher price point than those of the incumbent toy solders and do not necessarily fit well into existing collections because of size and painting, it takes a lot of courage to make the jump and order. But apparently, most first time buyers are happy with the productand stick to First Legion.

The diorama looks very good. Are you making this one yourself? And when are you getting your first tank? :)

It's looking good. Can't wait to see the finish scene.

Glad to see another First legion WWII collector on board Simmo, there are alot of great sets to choose from as well, the Russians are as good as the Germans sculpts to add to any battle also, look forward to seeing the finished dio...Sammy

Hi Simmo ,
I always had faith that as soon as you got one in your hands you would be hooked :wink2: its the only logical out come for any WWII fan ... they are just that good . Really like what you got started there , should be really nice when you get it all together . Welcome aboard the First legion train , at under 50 bucks US you really can't go wrong. IMO best German WWII figures ever produced of course I'm now preaching to a member of the choir :salute::. Regards Gebhard

Yes I will have to get some Russians to add to the diorama. Simmo.

They are great thats a fact. It's good to see First Legion getting into more toy soldier shops . That was a mistake they made in the begining. Now you watch they will take off. Simmo.

Hi Simmo ,
I'm not sure how much of a mistake their first sales model was as it never effected me personally as just about all my Toy Soldier sales are done over the internet , but I know it was an issue for some . The closest TS shops to me that I know of are in Gettysburg and I hit them on average of once a month , and pass on 99.99% of the things they stock, but that may all change with the stocking of First Legion ...hey no shipping charges :wink2: . I can guarantee an instant increase in the ACW lines sales , most collectors have never seen ACW figures at that level before and are gonna go crazy . When guys get to see First Legion next to what is currently on offer , your right mate they will take off and in a big way :wink2: . Just hope they don't sell out too quickly as I'm falling behind and desperate to avoid what will be the inevitable and dreaded secondary market . Hope you enjoy your new figures your dio is looking really nice . Cheers Gebhard

Personally I never had any difficulty with FL original sales model....Having them made available thru dealers and toy soldier shops will definitely give them more exposure and should increase sales volumes....hopefully it will not cause prices to increase soon....and hopefully will not result in the "manipulative antics" of speculators on secondary markets as was a common practice not so long ago with another TS company.....Ruins the Hobby

Like they say ( Far from the eyes, far from the hart )
FL did themselves a big favor
If it wasn't from this forum, i still would have no clue about FL
Asked a few members about their opinion and decided to see for myself
on great recommendation from my freind Gebhard
Bought the Brit artillery since the French were sold out
now i'm like the rest of them, can't wait for next releases
I do beleive that being more on the open will profit FL big time
Great move FL

That is going to be a great diorama, Simmo {bravo}}
Your buildings look great, nicely detailed.
Looking forward to seeing this finished and "alive".

My friend ,
I'm glad I could be of service :wink2: truly happy to have you on board ... It really is exciting being a collector of First Legion's Napoleonic figures , I really can't recommend them enough as the slogan goes they make splendid additions to any serious Napoleonic toy soldier collection .

In all seriousness I would stand them with any Napoleonic figure made at any price and feel they match well with figures well into the hundreds of dollar per figure . IMO Best and most exciting Napoleonic figures ever made in the Matte Class period {bravo}} Regards Gebhard
