Hi Mirof,

Thanks for posting. Those are great looking box artwork, aren't they? Tamiya's packaging was always first rate, similar to early Airfix.
As these are out-of-production, I scanned the web for some pictures just to show what the figures can look like painted up.

I have completed this piece. I added a twig and some bushes to balance the composition, and glued some maple leaves here and there. Finished!

Where did you get that small "table" that he's standing on?

Thanks. Those bases were a one-off supply from China about 10 years back, sent to Singapore, and sold as placements for small objets d'art (netsuke, bone carvings etc). Given their rather high prices, they didn't sell well and I've never seen any more of these. I had bought several of these for my oriental-themed figures then.

I typed in "small Chinese vase stands" on google and got these images. You have to shop around but there are small versions of these for objets d'art.
