I have been approached by a new Spanish maker who wanted to show off his soldiers.

Xaby Marquez said in his email:

We are a brand new toys soldiers, we call ART SOLDIERS MINIATUREAS.
Our first figures are in the process of production and painting. I send you some pictures for you to view.
Hope you like, are Spanish soldiers in the capture of Pensacola 1781 (Florida).
The painted figures will be sold as King & Country, The Collectors Showcase, Figarti Figurines, etc ...

His website
http://www.artsoldiers.es.tl/
is now live and shows 2 figures from Pensacola

and 2 from Berlin 1945,

and another listed from France 1944.

If they are, like he says, compatible with the big makers, they could be a welcome addion, and he could be the Thomas Gunn of Spain???

Have a look and see what you think, and keep a lookout for the painted figures.

Looks good... As they're Spanish, I'm hoping that they'll get around to Spain's exploration of the Americas, Conquistadors, Aztecs etc.
