a new Verlinden Building (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I'v been a little busy lately but managed to knock out a new Verlinden building in the week past. These are really great to work with and very easy to achieve the look of a bombed out building. Eventually I hope to have a full street... until then I'll keep working on my bridge dio which is progressing nicely.

Hi Wayne, the figures are about 1:30 Thomas Gunn. The buildings are 1:32/1:35. There is very little noticeable difference between the scale of the figures and the scale of the buildings so they work well with each other. I do like a lot of the King and Country buildings but the painting on them is just so unrealistic... in fact some look like they were bombed then someone came along and gave them a fresh coat of paint. There are a few companies they make these plaster buildings including verlinden, plus models, royal models and dioramas plus. There is a couple of great suppliers here in Australia, BNA Model World and Creative Models, both of which have reasonable stock of all the brands I listed. It is a shame that build-a-rama doesn't have a supplier here in australia as the postage from the US makes the products way to expensive.
