Attached are some quick photos of my new favorite piece. No complaining about camouflage patterns and rivets on this set. It is truly incredible. Congratulations to Matt and the First Legion team on this one. I really hope that he makes other variants.

Incredible Detail....Well Done First Legion :salute:::salute:::salute::

Great piece and excellent photos. The colors are wonderful. I really like the details like the quiver hung on the Howda. How many figures can fit into the Howda?

Congrats Matt and thanks for the pics. That is an amazing piece! It's mind-blowing to me that FL put out an elephant and a Tiger II essentially at that same time! {eek3} They just keep picking up steam.

Does anyone have the weight of this piece? I consider displaying it on glass shelves.

My display cabinet has .250 inch thick glass shelves that are rated at 70 pound capacity. The shelves are 25" wide X 13" deep. I recommend .375 inch Polycarbonate for larger shelves and heavier loads; especially in tectonically active areas.

I have Ikea shelves. But they are able to carry two Beau Geste elephants (which are solid as US customs once insisted they drill into one, so I know) without problems. So I am rather comfortable putting the FL elephant up. But knowing is better than assuming.

I will do that, Brad. I will send you the three digit bill for shipping & handling separately.

In the end end, I might need a dozen anyway to properly reenact gaugamemela.

I’m more than happy to drive down and pick it up Andreas. Why I might even spring for dinner.

Some additional pics of the new elephant!

Wow! Excellent photos of some great pieces. - Zach, these images are outstanding.

Here is my elephant. I was focusing on faces though as I more or less discontinued buying the WWII FL figures because of the painting technique used on those figures. I love these faces, though.

Thank you, Joe. I am currently displaying it with some TGM Greeks - which in my opinion do not match that well with the size and quality of FL. But I like the scenario ....

And yes: The elephant is lightweight.

It looks beautiful on display in your curio. FL really did a fantastic job with their first elephant. It's exciting to wonder what will be next. Enjoy your new treasure Andres and thanks for the new photo!
