Snowed for pretty much 12 hours straight yesterday (10am - 10pm) here in south central Wisconsin. Spent part of this morning clearing out the driveway. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 40's . . . Spring is coming . . .

That's crazy insane!!! Was talking with George the other day and he mentioned hardly any snowfall in his area in Massachusetts.

Haven't had plowable snow here all winter.....................haven't picked up my shovel/ice scraper once............bought a brand new bottle of ice melt, have yet to use it.

All of which means tomorrow we'll get a blizzard.

80 degees on Tuesday, 30 degrees the last 3 days and possible 90 degrees possible within the nest 7 days.

I continue to repeat myself, people wonder why real estate is so cheap in Texas.

Well, right as rain, I was right.............we got a dusting last night...............^&grin................it was 65 degrees on Thursday, today with the wind chill, it's in the 20's.

My next door neighbor of 4.5 years (the retired couple who bought the condo next to mine and had their daughter and her two kids move in "temporarily until she got her feet on the ground"..................she and the kids never moved out, the deadbeat Son also moved in, just wonderful what I put up with for 4.5 years) bought a house in Brownsville TX; swimming pool, big back yard, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms for peanuts according to him and moved last month.

My neighbor on the other side bought their place about a year ago, they are ironically from Texas........he told me "Brownsville; hope they like it hot and humid, every day there feels like you're a mile from the sun."

Yup, that explains why they got the house for "peanuts."

I've said it a million times, but give me the four seasons, mild spring, decent summer, cool fall and a decent winter, I can handle temps ranging from 20 to 80, anything above 90, with humidity/ball soup weather.........forget it.

George:

I love Texas, but…..

This really sums it all up perfectly. Texas has 2 seasons.

It is always “too cold”, “too windy”, “too rainy”, “too hot”, “too unpredictable” etc.

Great for real estate prices but not so good for your everyday existence.

It's supposed to be 70 plus here tomorrow but a blizzard just north of us. Unreal weather.

We are under a winter storm warning until noon tomorrow. Winter storm Olive more than likely will be our big storm of the season so far. Started snowing here last night, it's still snowing. You know it could get bad when the forecast is measured in feet and not inches. So far we have had a wintery mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. YUK!

Snow in LA. That should make for some fun driving experiences.

The 3rd measurable snowfall in 2 weeks!!! 6 inches fell by this morning, loved it!!

Well I guess winter isn't over yet. This is what I woke up to this morning . . . Still coming down and expected for the next 6 hours . . . Predicting 5 inches of accumulation . . . Perfect weather to set up a Battle On Snowshoes diorama 🤣😂

Hey Mike,

Does that "squirrel proof" bird feeder really work? I was going to buy one.

John from Texas

Yes it does John. We have also added a squirrel baffle on the main pole. We have a bunch of squirrels since we live near a wooded area out in the country. They don't even bother trying to get at our feeders anymore
