Aaarrrr The Pipes (1 Viewer)

Aaahhhh... I think that only Amazing Grace on the pipes can rival that.

As once said, no other instrument stirs bravery in one’s soul like the battle pipes.

aaaaaaaaah...
so majestic...
such a somber, serious group that commands your respect...
love it!...^&grin

Toddy mate,
Great clips cobber. I have fingers and toes crossed that K&C will release the Black Watch (13 piece) Highland Pipes and Drums Band (CE028) this coming Monday in the February Dispatches. I have ordered an extra two (CE061) Pipers and one extra (CE062) Drummer to increase the size of this wonderful Band.

Cheers Howard

One can only hope Howard. I stumbled across these two clips and being a fan of the pipes and drums thought I'd share them with the team. I'm sure Andy would be interested too, so hopefully I've planted a wee seed somewhere in his subconscious. :wink2:

...would you believe it....first time I've seen that Ballater video....thankfully I was out of camera-shot on the day...I'd been up Lochnagar that very morning and caught the march after stopping in Ballater on the way home......it was one of those times when you realise that you've got a big daft grin on your face, along with everyone else nearby because of all enjoying the pipes...

...a great day!

Terrific! Although the British Army's pipe bands are tops. The Scots Guards are like the gold standard for military pipe bands.
