Action D-Day sets for 2011. (1 Viewer)

Yes especially 1st div tho my relative was in the 29th

Dear "Bromhead":

Based on assorted D-Day books I have read there was one regiment of the US Army 29th Infantry Division that came ashore on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944 along with the US Army 1st Infantry Division. There was also a company or two of US Army Rangers that were on the far right side of Omaha Beach area as well. In any case, we will have to wait until 2011 to get more "action" K&C sets of above noted sets. I had a older cousin who died shortly before I was born when his C-47 he was the pilot of crashed near English Channel beach on or about 20 September 1944 in Holland which must have been part of Market Garden Operation.

Best regards, "Iron Brigade" 4/19/2010
